Tatiana Daubek holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Music degree from Boston University. Her principal teachers and inspirations have come from Julia Bushkova, Cynthia Roberts, Dana Mazurkevich, and Elizabeth Blumenstock. Ms. Daubek is currently pursuing a career as a Baroque violinist because she feels there is an endless amount of variety and color within the style and wants to explore those attributes to their furthest. This coming fall, Ms. Daubek will begin her second masters degree in Historical Performance with Monica Huggett at the Juilliard School. As a free-lance artist, Ms. Daubek plays with various period ensembles throughout the country including Boston Baroque, Handel and Haydn Society, New Trinity Baroque, Les Bostonades, and LÕAcademie. A founding member, Ms. Daubek also plays with Cambridge Concentus, an upcoming period ensemble having recently finished their first international tour in Japan of BachÕs St. Matthew Passion, under the direction of Joshua Rifkin. In her spare time, Tatiana enjoys photography and dancing Argentine Tango.
