Diana Lee-Planès performs regularly on period and modern violins in chamber and orchestral settings. She has recently played with Tafelmusik, the Handel and Haydn Society, the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, the Dayton Bach Society, and Chorus Pro Musica, and performs annually with the Bloomington Early Music Festival Orchestra. She is a member of Trio Francesco Rognoni, which was featured at BLEMF 203. In addition, she has formaerly held the position of Concertmaster with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic Orchestras. Diana received a Master of Music degree in violin performance and early music from Indiana University, where she was the recipient of the Jason Paras Memorial Scholarship. Her former teachers include Stanley Ritchie, Ik-Hwan Bae, and Mauriocio Fuks, and she has received additional coaching from Marc Destrubé.
