Christiane Laflamme graduated with an Artist Diploma on baroque flute in the class of Claire Guimond at McGill University. She holds a Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste from École Normale de Musique de Paris where she studied with Christian Lardé, and a Master Degree in Interpretation from the Université de Montréal.
In 2003 and 2004, she recorded with luthist Michel Cardin music by Sylvius Leopold Weiss for SNE (London Manuscript vol 11 - 12) and the Rameau's opera Castor and Pollux in Toronto with Aradia Ensemble, for Naxos. She has performed with various baroque ensembles including Orchestre Baroque de Montréal, Telemann Ensemble and the McGill Baroque Orchestra.
Christiane Laflamme was awarded scholarships from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Canada Council for the Arts. She is music director of École de musique de Lanaudière.
