Karoline Kang has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and France as a chamber musician and orchestral player, both on modern and baroque cello. She is a member of the Tarab Cello Ensemble, which has commissioned over ten new works for cello octet since its inception in 2001, as well as the Madrone String Quartet, which specializes in baroque and classical repertoire. Caroline hold degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Ithaca College, where she studied with Steven Doane and Elizabeth Simkin, and has also studied with Phoebe Carrai at the Longy School of Music.
